He has held distinguished roles as Chairman, Board Member, CEO, and COO across Fortune 500 technology firms, startups, employee-owned businesses, and private equity-backed platforms. Most recently, Shea served as President, Chairman, and CEO of Peraton.

As the founder of the United States Geospatial Intelligence Foundation (USGIF) and the GEOINT Symposium, Shea is widely recognized for his work advancing geospatial intelligence and shaping the landscape of U.S. intelligence and defense technology. He served as the Chairman and Member of the Senior Advisory Group (SAG) for five Directors of National Intelligence (DNIs), as well as on numerous other industry and government advisory boards. Throughout his career, Shea has received numerous awards for his business and personal leadership, including the Intelligence Community Seal Medallion and induction into the NGA GEOINT Hall of Fame.
