Community Executive Hires to Accelerate Growth of the Business and Product Offerings

Community, the innovative text messaging platform that powers direct relationships and one-on-one conversations at scale, has expanded its leadership team to welcome Todd Fellerman as its first Chief Revenue Officer, Sarah Agudo as Chief Legal and Privacy Officer, and Evan Young as Chief of Staff. The new executive hires follows a recent round of investment.

Fellerman joins Community from Tripadvisor, where he served as a Global Vice President leading its global sales, service, and advertising operations teams under the B2B division. With his previous leadership experience at Amazon and Google, Fellerman draws on his knowledge to further optimize the customer experience and deepen partner relationships as the business scales and reaches new brands.

In his new position, Fellerman will be based in New York and will report directly to founder and CEO, Matthew Peltier. He will oversee partnerships, sales, distribution and vertical growth, with SMBs, global brands and enterprise companies. He will also be responsible for helping to scale new Leaders, with focus on public figures. Fellerman will work with the current team, to ensure that people, brands, and marketers can leverage Community’s innovative technology to engage with their respective audiences without social algorithm interference, ads or spam getting in the way.

Agudo brings over 15 years experience of exceptional legal and corporate counsel, mostly recently at Quibi and previously at Snap Inc., Medium, and Yelp, Inc., to help oversee Community’s legal and policy services and resources in line with the business’s strategies and priorities.

Young joins Community with a background in consulting and business, most recently as Chief of Staff at ServiceTitan. He will work alongside Community CEO Matthew Peltier to support Community’s strategic business and company objectives.

Fellerman, Agudo, and Young’s recent hires mark continuous growth for Community. Since its launch in 2019, Community saw more than 3 billion text messages exchanged between its Leaders (people, businesses and brands with a 10-digit Community number) and their Members (the consumers who choose to text with Leaders on Community). Community has welcomed more than 26 million Members onto the platform, who can directly engage with politicians, musicians, pop culture icons, streetwear designers, athletes, creators, small business owners, media/entertainments companies and brands.
