Moz Acquires STAT Search Analytics

Acquisition Expands Scale of Search Results Data and Insights and Increases Flexibility of Solutions for Large Enterprises and Agencies

Moz, Inc., the leader in search engine optimization technology, announced the acquisition of Vancouver, Canada-based STAT Search Analytics, the leader in rank tracking and SERP (search engine result page) analytics for enterprises and digital agencies. Moz CEO Sarah Bird made the announcement in a joint video blog post with STAT CEO Rob Bucci.

Today, @Moz announces the acquisition of @getSTAT. Now, users will have access to the most robust #organicsearch solution in the industry!

In the first half of the year, Moz increased new enterprise business by nearly 40 percent with the addition of one of the largest insurance providers in the country, as well as a multinational restaurant chain. With the acquisition of STAT, the combined company portfolio will include brand heavyweights eBay, Alaska Airlines and Trivago, among others. Moz plans to retain and expand the STAT team in Vancouver, and add Rob Bucci as Vice President of Research and Development.
