H Code Welcomes Damian Benders as General Manager to Lead Expansion Into Black Media
H Code, the largest Hispanic digital media company in the U.S., is excited to announce the appointment of Damian Benders as General Manager of B Code as the company prepares for its next stage of growth. H Code envisions a future for media and advertising where everyone is authentically represented. Acting on that vision, H Code hopes to apply its learnings over the past six (6) years and establish B Code with the help of Benders, who will lead the launch of this expansion into Black media.
B Code aims to reach, target, and influence Black Americans with data and authentic marketing leveraging H Code’s expertise in the multicultural landscape. Benders will manage the development and execution of impactful creative, branded content, editorial, custom content, and integrated digital offerings for the Black community in the United States.

A multicultural digital media veteran with over 20 years of experience, Benders has deep knowledge in content creation, production, strategic partnerships, media strategy, brand development, and digital product innovation. Benders was most recently the Vice President of Video & Business Development for iOne Digital, where he was responsible for driving video programming, production, and revenue across a portfolio of 70 brands and led the development and launch of the company’s emerging artist platform across OTT and CTV. Previously, he also worked at Moguldom Media Group, SnagFilms, FilmBuff, and Metro International. In 2008, Benders launched EdwardOwen Consulting, a specialized digital media and strategy consultancy serving clients across the media, publishing, and technology industries.
