New Feature Allow Users to Share and Co-Create Custom Presentations

Alucio, a fast-growing provider of cloud-based software for the life sciences industry, today announced a new feature for Beacon that enables field users to share and co-develop custom presentations with their colleagues and managers, both within departments and across functions. This unique collaboration capability further enhances Beacon’s highly-popular presentation builder feature which allows users to tailor medical and scientific content while remaining fully compliant with industry and company guidelines.

This collaboration feature really takes Beacon’s personalization capabilities to the next level. We now make it easy for a field user to integrate slides, data or reports from a colleague into their custom presentation in a fully compliant way,” said Tom O’Connell, Co-Founder and COO at Alucio.

With this addition, medical science liaisons (MSLs), medical affairs staff and market access professionals can now partner with other users or groups of users in customizing presentations for meetings with healthcare professionals, payers, and other audiences. This co-editing process is facilitated through an intuitive user interface and simple workflow steps available in Beacon. The tool also allows for the preservation of existing regulatory mandates that govern the custom content creation process at the organization level.

Overall, this new capability provides Beacon customers with simple, organized, shared spaces, that remove the guesswork and hassle of asynchronous content collaboration that utilizes email or other sharing applications. These tools can often introduce version control issues and other content development challenges that are particularly problematic in the life science industry.

“This collaboration feature really takes Beacon’s personalization capabilities to the next level. For example, we now make it easy for a field user to integrate slides, data or reports from a colleague into their custom presentation in a fully compliant way,” said Tom O’Connell, Co-Founder and COO at Alucio. “We are excited about this update and the positive impact it can have on the quality of our customers’ field engagements.”
