“The State of Email Attrition 2018” Analyzes NeverBounce User Data to Determine the Attrition Rate of B2B and B2C Email Addresses

Based on user data analyzed over a 12-month period, the white paper “The State of Email Attrition 2018” looks at the average attrition rate, or “churn rate” of B2C email addresses, addresses featuring consumer domains such as “@aol.com,” “@gmail.com,” “@yahoo.com,” “@rr.com,” etc., and B2B email addresses, addresses containing unique domain addresses specific to a business or organization. A sample set of 40 million records of valid user B2C and B2B email data gathered during a five-month period was reevaluated after a year to determine the average attrition rate of both subsets.
