Machine Learning Pioneer Dynam.AI Hires AI Founder Craig Parfitt as Chief Technology Officer

Parfitt has spent the last two decades building data, analytics and AI capabilities for organizations including HSBC, Lazard, O-I Glass, Hostess, Santander, NexTier, Lloyds Banking Group, UK Border Agency, Joint Forces Command, and the UK’s National Health Service (NHS).

Dynam.AI, an artificial intelligence (AI) software development firm best known for full stack AI innovation, today announced that Craig Parfitt has joined the company’s executive team as Chief Technology Officer. Mr. Parfitt is a data, analytics and artificial intelligence expert with deep ties in the field of AI and machine learning. An AI technology founder, Parfitt has spent the past two decades developing these capabilities for a number of organizations working in consulting, private industry and government.

Mr. Parfitt is a technology founder who started an AI led consulting firm and developed a data-driven, intelligent solution for the insurance industry. His experience as an entrepreneur and recent work with the Gener8tor venture capital community helped him learn the fundraising process and solidified his network across the global business and technology landscape. Outside of his professional involvement in the field, Parfitt frequently speaks and publishes on digital transformation, the use of data, advanced analytics (PA, ML, AI), and technology to shape customer experience and drive business growth.

Previously, Mr. Parfitt served as the Chief Engineer/Architect and Head of Business Development for the Boston, New York and London-based GFT Group. During his tenure with GFT, Mr. Parfitt expanded the company’s innovation offerings in the Atlantic region, ensuring that GFT’s global delivery capabilities with partners were underpinned by “best-in-class” engineering practices. Prior to GFT, Mr. Parfitt’s professional experience included technology leadership, product and business development positions with employers including Accenture Digital, Carlson Marketing Group, Capgemini, Detica (now BAE Systems) and ACE Group (now Chubb).

He received his bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of British Columbia, where he also earned a graduate degree in Biomedical Engineering, and specializing in Neuroscience, Decision Systems, Artificial Intelligence, Dynamic Control Systems, 3D Imaging, Pattern Recognition, Multivariate Statistics and Machine/Deep Learning.
