COVID-19 Pandemic to Disrupt Consumer Holiday Shopping Plans and Sales
The COVID-19 pandemic is expected to negatively impact retail holiday shopping plans this year. According to the latest survey findings, more than half of consumers (54%) expect to participate in sales events and 42% plan to spend less than a year ago. 91% of those who will participate will shop for deals online exclusively rather than doing it in a physical brick and mortar store.
