Tachyum Inc. announced the hiring of Rob Reiner as Product Marketing Director and Miriam Madrova as Marketing Communications Manager. The two newly-created positions will help in the positioning and messaging of the company’s Prodigy Universal Processor ahead of its delivery to worldwide markets later this year.

Reiner, who is positioned in Tachyum’s U.S. offices, is an innovative leader with experience defining, developing, and marketing advanced semiconductor and system technologies and solutions for the server and embedded markets. He comes to Tachyum from Marvell, where he served as director of product marketing and management for the Server Processor Business Unit. Madrova has 20 years of managerial experience in the fields of marketing communication, corporate affairs, public relations, CSR and public sector. Prior to joining Tachyum, she served as the marketing and communications manager for Medirex Group. Previous experience includes serving as managing director at Neopublic Porter Novelli; senior PR manager at AVG Technologies; various positions in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Office of the Slovak Republic and PR, CSR and CPE (Customer and Partner Experience) Lead at Microsoft. Tachyum’s Prodigy can run HPC applications, convolutional AI, explainable AI, general AI, bio AI, and spiking neural networks, plus normal data center workloads, on a single homogeneous processor platform, using existing standard programming models. Without Prodigy, hyperscale data centers must use a combination of CPU, GPU, TPU hardware, for these different workloads, creating inefficiency, expense, and the complexity of separate supply and maintenance infrastructures.
