    MediaPlatform Announces MediaPlatform Autocaster® Preproduction & Automated Webcast Replay Platform
    StriveCast P2P eCDN Allows Organizations to Optimize the Delivery of Video Across Existing Network Infrastructure

    MediaPlatform broadened the number of video delivery technologies supported in its Broadcaster live webcasting platform with the addition of the StriveCast P2P eCDN to the list of its peering partners.

    StriveCast’s P2P eCDN is a browser-based peering solution that lets organizations deliver high-quality, scalable live video streams at minimum bandwidth requirements. StriveCast Enterprise establishes connections between viewer devices and allows them to cache and share video data with one another. P2P minimizes bandwidth use by as much as 95% by reducing the need for viewers to each pull video streams from origin media servers.

    MediaPlatform’s Enterprise Video Platform includes its next-generation live webcasting platform, MediaPlatform® Broadcaster, which gives producers easy-to-use, browser-based multimedia production capabilities with enterprise-class security and reliability, and the MediaPlatform® Event Success Dashboard (ESD), a real-time analytics tool that lets business broadcasters monitor in real time how audiences are reacting to webcast content via an audience sentiment widget that lets viewers register sentiment votes using intuitive emoticons.

    Its end-to-end enterprise video platform also includes the MediaPlatform® On Demand video content management portal, and MediaPlatform’s video delivery capabilities – including its Smartpath network overlay rules engine for management of failover and redundancy across multiple vendor technologies and the MediaPlatform® Edge eCDN.
