MomentFeed Founder Joins SOCi as it Continues Momentous Growth

Marketing platform pioneers Rob Reed and Afif Khoury join forces to dominate multi-location marketing

SOCi, the leading all-in-one platform for “next-level” multi-location marketers, announced that Rob Reed, Founder and former CEO of MomentFeed, joined the company full-time as Strategic Advisor – Enterprise Brands. The news follows SOCi’s impressive growth in Q2 2020 in which the company continued to exceed revenue goals in the midst of one of the worst economic markets in decades. SOCi has also grown the number of business locations being managed on its platform by 45% since this time last year, while seeing platform usage surge by more than 300% in that same time period.

“The strength and importance of our localized marketing platform has proven to be a lifeline of communication to many of our partners in these difficult times,” said Afif Khoury, Founder & CEO of SOCi. “This is one of many reasons Rob and I joined forces. We understand how important the work we are doing in localized marketing is to the well-being of millions of businesses and the economy as a whole.”

Reed, the founder of one of the earliest multi-location marketing companies MomentFeed, joins SOCi to further catalyze its enterprise growth strategy and expand its already impressive stable of more than 300 brands, which includes companies like Ace Hardware, SportClips, Anytime Fitness, Liberty Tax, Nekter Juice Bar, and Pinnacle Property Management. Reed and Khoury have long shared a vision of developing a central, unified platform that delivers all of an enterprise’s localized marketing needs. SOCi has invested heavily in bringing that vision to life, which is one of the reasons that Reed joined the company.

“For businesses that operate hundreds or thousands of locations, a platform that centralizes all of the critical marketing tools under one login is imperative not only to optimize digital marketing, but to achieve local activation and adoption at the individual store or property level. This has become increasingly essential in reaching and engaging today’s consumers,” said Rob Reed. “What excites me about SOCi is that it’s the only company that truly has all of the tools — listings management, social media management, local search, digital ads and more — to adequately fuel enterprise customers’ success in a single platform. Additionally, SOCi’s growing product team and commitment to customer success is unmatched, and I’m thrilled to be joining such an innovative team.”

Reed joins during a pivotal time as brands increase their reliance on local search, social, and reviews to reach customers about changes to hours, product availability, and logistics spurred by the COVID-19 pandemic. As a platform that plays a central command function for top multi-location brands, SOCi has witnessed the effects of this change across platforms like Facebook and Google My Business, and worked with enterprises to optimize and adjust their localized strategy to better compete amid this new reality and new marketplace.

“Rob’s knowledge, experience, and relationships within the localized marketing space is unparalleled. We’re fortunate to bring him on board as our brands work to provide their customers with critical updates and information about their businesses as the pandemic continues,” added Khoury. “Like SOCi, Rob understands the importance of marrying a digital and local strategy and with his leadership, the team can deliver even more impactful results to our client roster of leading multi-location businesses.”
