Episerver, a global provider of a single platform to smartly manage digital content, commerce and marketing in the cloud, has been positioned in Gartner’s “Magic Quadrant for Digital Experience Platforms.” Gartner published the report on 17 January 2018, recognizing Episerver among 21 total vendors.

This report recognized Episerver for its completeness of vision and ability to execute. The Magic Quadrant for Digital Experience Platforms is an evolution of the Magic Quadrant for Horizontal Portals.

The Episerver Digital Experience Cloud has seen several years of major investments in its next-generation content and commerce platform. In the last 12 months, the company added omnichannel campaign management and real-time personalization capabilities backed by artificial intelligence and customer journey analytics, as well as enhanced user-generated content (UGC) and distributed order management system (DOMS) features to the platform. The result is a single, yet highly productive resource to underpin the delivery of immersive and frictionless digital experiences.

Episerver also partnered with Microsoft this year, announcing Episerver Digital Commerce for Dynamics 365, which brought together its DXP with the comprehensive customer relationship management (CRM) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) capabilities of Dynamics 365 to help mutual customers deliver on the promise of experience-driven commerce – all from within the Microsoft Azure Cloud.

“We have invested extensively in our platform, and believe our recognition in Gartner’s Magic Quadrant for Digital Experience Platforms reflects both the broad and deep strengths of our solution, as well as our overall vision and support for how a DXP can seamlessly interoperate with existing systems and accommodate new and potentially disruptive processes and experiences,” said James Norwood, executive vice president, strategy and CMO at Episerver. “Although the market for digital experience platforms is still maturing, we’re seeing more organizations undergoing the rigors of digital transformation within their business, for which the potential of a DXP is increasingly the answer.”

The Episerver Digital Experience Cloud delivers an end-to-end platform-as-a-service (PaaS) deployed within the Microsoft Azure cloud and supported by a partner ecosystem of more than 800 digital agencies and systems integrators, who help organizations and companies worldwide to create, manage and personalize digital experiences.
