4C Expands Board of Directors with Appointment of Former Verizon Executive Marni Walden

Marni Walden Has More Than Twenty Years of Experience in the Media and Wireless Industry

4C, a data science and marketing technology company, announced the appointment of Marni Walden to the company’s Board of Directors.

Walden has more than twenty years of experience in the media and wireless industry, most recently serving as Executive Vice President and President of Global Media and New Business at Verizon Communications Inc., where she reported directly to the Chairman of Verizon and was a top five officer of the corporation. Walden led the corporate strategy team which included acquisitions and investments through Verizon Ventures, including the acquisitions of AOL and Yahoo, ultimately forming Verizon’s media and advertising business Oath. Walden is also a vocal advocate for closing the corporate gender gap.

Prior to her most recent position, Walden served as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Marketing Officer for Verizon Wireless. As CMO she was responsible for all marketing initiatives and the management and development of mobile products and services. This included brand management, media buying, agency management and website integration across Verizon Wireless. Walden is also the Chairwoman of Globetouch, a leader in global connectivity services for the connected car and the Internet of Things (IoT).
