Botify Welcomes New CMO and SVP Legal to Support Global Growth Initiatives

Enterprise Software Provider Expands Senior Management Team and Plans to Double Headcount in 2022 to Address Growing Demand for Organic Search Solution

Botify, the leading enterprise software company for performance-driven organic search, welcomes two new members to its executive team and is expanding its flagship offices in New York and Paris to meet growing global customer demand. Robert Rothschild is joining Botify as Chief Marketing Officer and Angela Newman as Senior Vice President of Legal. Both have careers that span multiple decades in their respective disciplines, bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience to Botify at a vital growth stage of the company. This comes on the heels of a strong 2021, which included securing $55 million in Series C funding, product enhancements that resulted in signing 76 new customers across top-tier brands in retail, ecommerce, and publishing, landing a spot in the exclusive Google Cloud Marketplace, and opening new offices in Singapore, Sydney, and Tokyo.

“What attracts me to Botify is the smart and talented team and its tech-driven market approach, which is focused on translating organic search into measurable and impactful business results. I’m humbled and excited to be leading and building the global marketing team at Botify. And, by the way, we’re hiring!,” said Robert Rothschild, Botify’s new Chief Marketing Officer. Robert is an accomplished marketing executive with more than 20 years of success in scaling startups into well-established enterprise brands. He has held executive-level marketing positions at Smartly.io, SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, Compaq, and Digitas. Robert has a Master’s degree from Harvard University and a Bachelor of Science degree from Northeastern University.

“I’m thrilled to be joining Botify full time at this incredibly exciting time for the company and after working as outside counsel for the last year,” said Angela Newman, Botify’s Senior Vice President of Legal. “Botify is leading the way in helping customers discover valuable insights from existing data that directly improve financial results. It is an honor to be counted among the smart, dedicated, and curious innovators I now call teammates.”

Angela is a business-minded attorney with more than 20 years’ experience in global software licensing and services contracting where she worked with Adobe, Neolane and Oracle. She also supported tech startups with deal negotiation and strategic risk management and has extensive experience helping international companies grow US revenue streams. Angela has a law degree from Suffolk University, graduated from Wellesley College with BA degree in Psychology and Sociology, and completed a US Intellectual Property Law program at Stanford Law School.

“Robert and Angela are joining the team at a time of tremendous growth for Botify and we could not be more excited to welcome them,” said Adrien Menard, CEO of Botify. “Both are seasoned leaders that will enhance our ability to scale our platform’s performance, exceed growth targets and further establish our brand as the leader in organic search.”

2021 has been a record year for Botify as it experienced significant growth internally, increasing it’s headcount by 77% with 124 new employees, and plans to double that number over the next two years. To keep ahead of the market, Botify is expanding its product line with Botify Activation, a tool that uses AI to generate and optimize for organic search without requiring developmental or technical resources.

Botify will spend 2022 hyperfocused on expansion, adding more automation and data science features to its product line as well as cultivating its partnership ecosystems and growing the team. A big push is bringing on more engineering talent to enable the company to continue to develop new and more native automation features to reach a broader range of enterprises that may have big, complex sites but don’t have huge teams of organic-search experts and web programmers to call upon.
