FiscalNote Releases “Epstein Unboxed,” a Comprehensive, AI-Enhanced Database Transforming Access to Epstein Investigation Records

Breakthrough archive and interactive webpage bring order, insight, and searchability to thousands of previously fragmented files — with continuous expansion as new disclosures emerge

FiscalNote Holdings, Inc. , the leading provider of AI-driven policy and regulatory intelligence solutions, announced the launch of Epstein Unboxed, a comprehensive, fully structured, AI-enhanced database that consolidates thousands of documents tied to the Epstein investigations. Developed entirely in-house through FiscalNote’s expertise in AI and data engineering, Epstein Unboxed unifies emails, videos, legal filings, calendar entries, and other materials — including newly released content — into a single, intuitive resource featuring an interactive webpage that allows users to search-and-question the archive in real time.

With the Department of Justice preparing to release additional files expected to appear in large, unstructured batches, Epstein Unboxed arrives at a pivotal moment and is designed to support investigative journalists, policymakers, researchers, and members of the public to efficiently and quickly access and analyze these important public records. The archive centralizes documents that have historically surfaced in fragmented and inconsistent batches, enhancing transparency and making it significantly easier to locate, compare, and analyze newly disclosed information. As courts or government entities publish additional records, FiscalNote will continue to expand the archive and update the underlying dataset.

FiscalNote is uniquely positioned to deliver this resource through technology capable of reconstructing massive, disorganized government document releases at scale and with accuracy. Every file in Epstein Unboxed has been OCR processed, linearized for rapid streaming, text-extracted, and indexed, allowing users to search across the entire corpus without downloading large documents. FiscalNote’s AI tools further enrich the dataset by parsing emails to identify senders, recipients, timestamps, and subjects; generating summaries and keyword tags; following embedded links; and identifying speakers in transcripts. When additional files are released, FiscalNote’s processing pipeline organizes, indexes, and publishes searchable updates within four to eight hours, transforming the usability of raw materials that previously lacked any of it.

The new Epstein Unboxed webpage includes advanced search functionality, improved filtering, and cross-referencing tools that enable users to track connections across documents, surface related records, and monitor updates as new disclosures emerge. The built-in search-and-question box allows users to query the archive directly and explore AI-generated insights that help guide deeper investigation and understanding.

“This is the kind of work FiscalNote was built to do,” said Josh Resnik, CEO & President of FiscalNote. “Significant volumes of civic information often come in formats that are difficult to explore, navigate or understand, which limits how widely and meaningfully they can be used. Epstein Unboxed applies FiscalNote’s expertise in AI and data infrastructure to convert those materials into searchable, organized, and actionable information. We are committed to equipping journalists, policymakers, and the public with the tools they need to bring important information to light.”
