MetaCX Appoints Jill Chiara as Chief Revenue Officer

MetaCX, the pioneer in a new outcomes-based approach for managing the customer lifecycle, announced its appointment of Jill Chiara to the newly created role of chief revenue officer. In this role, Chiara will lead the sales, customer success, and professional service teams. She will report to MetaCX President Sorofman.

“We’re thrilled to have Jill join the executive team,” said Scott McCorkle, co-founder, and CEO of MetaCX. “We are in the early innings of a multiyear journey to expand the boundaries of enterprise software from the narrow thinking of a single company’s workflow to a network mindset that recognizes the business gets done in ecosystems, starting with suppliers and buyers winning together. Jill has the intellect, energy, and experience necessary to help bring our customers into this new world.”

Chiara brings 20 years of experience at the senior vice president and vice president level where she worked at hyper-growth SaaS company Drift, Crimson Hexagon, and Forrester. A global business leader with proven expertise in business development, customer success, and product management, she has a deep understanding of launching and growing products as well as managing multifaceted sales, service, and operations teams.

“I’m excited to join MetaCX at this stage of my career and at this stage of MetaCX’s trajectory,” said Chiara. “Creating a connected experience for customers from the sales process through the handoff and the value realization and renewal phases has been a gap in the market for far too long.”

This appointment is the latest in a series of recent MetaCX executive hires, including the announcement of former Facebook executive Anand Tharanathan to the role of chief product officer, Brett Crossley to the role of VP of services, and former Pendo CMO and Gartner Chief of Research Jake Sorofman as president. In late 2018, MetaCX announced $14 million in early funding led by Upfront Ventures with participation from Indianapolis-based High Alpha. MetaCX is actively in use by more than two dozen early customers, including notable SaaS companies and digital enterprises.

In June, MetaCX launched wide commercial availability of its B2B customer lifecycle management platform. MetaCX transforms how suppliers and buyers collaborate and win together. By creating shared spaces that allow suppliers and buyers to define and measure target outcomes, MetaCX helps align sales, success, and delivery teams around real value that customers can see. The result is better trust and transparency, which translates into higher win rates, larger deals, and longer, more profitable customer relationships
