Tenenblat brings exceptional experience across all facets of product strategy and development, most recently serving as the VP of Product Management for the Einstein product for Salesforce, where he led the Einstein Platform, which powered AI applications in Service, Marketing and Sales. Prior to that he was the co-founder and CEO of mobile CRM startup AppMesh, after having spent over six years in his first tour at Salesforce where he served in roles across Sales, Operations and R&D.

“Leo is bringing his experience and talents to Drift at a hugely important moment,” said David Cancel, founder and CEO of Drift. “The pandemic accelerated digital transformation by nearly a decade, and in order to stay competitive, companies need scalable, personalized, and real-time solutions to engage with their customers and prospects. Leo will play a key role in how we build best-in-class, differentiated enterprise products that will help our customers succeed.”

“Unquestionably, the people are the number one reason I joined Drift,” said Tenenblat. “David and Elias are incredible, no-nonsense leaders, with a great track record of working together and building world-class products, and we’re very much aligned on core values — things like customer-centricity, transparency and diversity.”

“Beyond that, the sales and marketing space has so much untapped opportunity — particularly in terms of AI and automation — and I’m excited to leverage my experience in the space to take Drift to the next level,” Tenenblat continued.
