Thunder Experience Cloud Secures $6 Million Financing to Take the Lead in People-Based Ad Serving

Thunder Experience Cloud, the leader in people-based ad serving, announced the closing of a $6 million funding round with investments from a consortium of open ad tech companies, as well as the expansion of its executive leadership team.

Thunder’s platform helps advertisers create, personalize, optimize and measure ad experiences across channels. Investors have taken note of the company’s promise to enable people-based advertising.

“WI Harper always locks in on rising stars and unique investment opportunities,” said Jimmy Lu, Managing Director of the WI Harper Group, a leading cross-border venture capital firm. “Thunder has been an innovator at every stage of the company, consistently anticipating and evolving to meet the ongoing demands of the industry. We strongly believe in the company’s potential as the first people-based ad server delivering brand messages across an increasing number of online channels, at a time when previous standards of measurement and targeting are under fire.”
