ZaiLab, a next-generation software company specializing in omnichannel, cloud-based contact center software, announced it has appointed a US team to lead its North American expansion. The team will be led by Michael Cibelli as VP of sales and marketing, with support from Marya Dzmitruk as head of marketing and Asonele Kotu in PR and events. Channel managers Cheima Ayyoub and Sebastien Ejdaa will focus on the west coast, while Philip van der Merwe and Forrest Knueppel focus on the central region.

Drawing on over 25 years of experience as a marketing and strategy development leader in the United States, Michael Cibelli will lead ZaiLab’s US expansion and report to CEO Nour Addine Ayyoub. He joins ZaiLab from BlueJeans Network where he served as global VP of channels. He has held previous senior positions with Oracle, Black Diamond Video, ShoreTel and Avaya. His background in sales and channel alliances in the US market and experience leading dynamic, highly competitive technology programs will enable ZaiLab to expand and support its growing practice in North America.
As head of marketing, Marya Dzmitruk will be responsible for global marketing programs, brand management, and sponsorships. Prior to ZaiLab, Dzmitruk worked in strategic partner marketing and enterprise sales for SaaS companies.
Leveraging nearly a decade of industry experience, Asonele Kotu will be in charge of PR and events. Her skills in business management and media relations will help bolster her work with the US team.
As newly appointed channel managers, Cheima Ayyoub, Sebastien Ejdaa, Philip Van der Merwe and Forrest Knueppel will secure, maintain and expand relationships with channel partners in their respective regions.
