CI&T Releases its 2022 Global ESG Report

CI&T, a leading player in driving digital transformation for global brands, released its second Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Report for 2022. The report highlights the Company’s initiatives and progress to date, as well as the principles that guide the company’s ESG strategy, governance and goals for 2025.

CI&T’s ESG strategy is driven by a shared vision to create equitable advancement opportunities for everyone, provide educational and workforce experiences for underrepresented groups and reduce environmental impact to create a more sustainable world where everyone thrives.

CI&T’s Actions are aligned with the commitments of the United Nations (UN) Global Compact and the internationally recognized standards established by the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

In 2022, CI&T impacted a total of 22,500 people through its social campaigns and tax incentive projects. The company also neutralized all its carbon emissions for the Brazilian operations in 2022, via nature-based carbon removal projects, supporting the conservation and restoration of the Brazilian biomes.

As part of our diversity and inclusion policy, 43% of people hired in 2022 are from a minority group. Currently, 50% of our employees are part of at least one group, be it women, people with disabilities, black people or LGBTQIAP+.

CI&T’s ESG Report provides a holistic view of the company’s current initiatives and serves as a transparent framework for its future goals. The 2022 report was developed following the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB) and the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) standards. In addition, we conducted our first ESG materiality analysis, consulting our internal and external stakeholders to better understand the relevance of ESG matters from their point of view.
