Derive Systems, a leading B2B and B2C automotive technology provider with over two million software installations on the road, announced today that the Company’s Board of Directors has appointed H. John Oechsle as Chief Executive Officer. John, a consumer and capital market veteran, has distinguished himself as a modest, disciplined, and demanding consumer advocate. With more than 30 years’ experience, John’s hands-on approach with product development has led to many successful product lines in the technology and e-business market segments.

“John has an extensive and impressive track record in shepherding innovation into the product and commercial design process, which is what Derive Systems was looking for as we head into the next phase of our company’s growth,” said Richard Welch Derive’s COO. “The automotive performance marketplace is continuing to evolve from both a consumer and regulatory perspective. Before joining Derive, John spent more than 7 years as the President, and CEO of Swiftpage, a computer software company specializing in customizable CRM and Marketing Automation solutions that drive lower cost customer acquisition and retention. Under John’s leadership, the company grew from a small startup to global leader in the CRM space with hundreds of thousands of users around the globe using their flagship product Act! to run their businesses.
