Vidy Expands Decentralized Video Ad Network

Vidy, the world’s first blockchain-powered decentralized video ad network, has launched its own crypto assets, called VidyCoin. When users play a video ad, they will be rewarded with VidyCoin, which can be used for buying goods in the Vidy network, running ads, or getting access to publishers’ premium features. In late November 2020, Vogue Singapore became the first major publisher to utilize VidyCoin to reward users and power on-site purchases. Within five days, 30 invisible micro-videos embedded by Vogue Singapore received 400 million seconds of active views, and the VIDY Wallet received 78,000 new registrations.
