Fastmail and Bitwarden to Offer New Email Alias Integration

New partnership is designed to expand on open-source standards for password management and private email

Fastmail, the privacy-focused email provider with a mission to expand online privacy and protect user data, announced their new partnership with Bitwarden, the open source password manager trusted by millions of users and businesses worldwide. This partnership is designed to integrate the open source Bitwarden platform with Fastmail’s open API. This is the second Masked Email integration of its kind and is currently available to Fastmail users.

Features of this new integration will allow users to:
●    Generate Masked Email addresses through a browser extension
●    Create variations of your email address when interacting with different people, sites, or mailing lists
●    Build visibility into how services and vendors are using your data
●    Have greater control over how incoming email is filtered and blocked
