Pavilion partners with business software and services reviews giant G2 to launch and co-sponsor recognition program

Pavilion, the leading global community for revenue executives, CEOs, and founders in the B2B software space, today announced it is partnering with G2 to co-sponsor the GTM Awards, an esteemed industry recognition program. The inaugural edition of the GTM Awards is dedicated to celebrating and honoring top go-to-market leaders and teams who have demonstrated exceptional skills, achievements, and contributions across various sectors within the B2B SaaS space.

Nominations are now open for the award program, which aims to inspire excellence, foster innovation, and build a community of professionals driving success in the dynamic B2B SaaS go-to-market landscape. With a wide range of categories covering sales, marketing, customer success, CEO/founder roles, and team and investor awards, the GTM Awards provide a platform to recognize individuals and companies at different stages of their journey, from startups to seasoned industry veterans.

Professionals, companies, and organizations are encouraged to submit nominations for individuals and teams who have demonstrated exceptional leadership, innovation, and success in their respective fields. The nomination period will remain open until August 15, 2023, and the GTM Awards judging panel, comprised of independent industry experts, will carefully evaluate the submissions to select the finalists and winners in each category. The winners will be announced during an exclusive awards ceremony to be held at the Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville, Tennessee on October 12, 2023, which will bring together industry leaders, influencers, and innovators.

Sam Jacobs, Founder & CEO, Pavilion: Jacobs is the Founder & CEO of Pavilion and the Wall Street Journal best-selling author of the book “Kind Folks Finish First.” He launched Pavilion as Revenue Collective in 2016 and bootstrapped the company to $10M in ARR before taking on a $25M growth financing round in early 2021, led by Elephant Ventures and GTM Fund. Prior to Pavilion, Sam spent 15 years as a senior revenue leader at VC-backed companies in the New York area including Gerson Lehrman Group, Axial, Livestream/Vimeo, The Muse, and Behavox. He lives in New York with his wife and two dogs, Walty and Williams.

Mike Weir, CRO, G2: Weir is Chief Revenue Officer at G2, the world’s largest and most trusted software marketplace, where he fuels the growth of the G2 Marketplace through engagement and support of G2 Marketing, Seller, Buyer, and Partner Solutions. Weir joined G2 from LinkedIn, where he spent eight years shaping go-to-market strategy and customer support for the Technology vertical, which helped LinkedIn Marketing Solutions become an industry leading partner to the tech industry. Before LinkedIn, Weir led marketing teams at technology companies which provided him a unique perspective as a marketing & sales executive with 20 years in the technology industry. Jacco van der Kooij, Founder, Winning by Design: van der Kooij is an internationally renowned business leader and thought leader on revenue growth and strategy. He is the founder of Winning By Design and author of “Blueprints of a Sales SaaS Organization,” along with seven other best-selling books on driving growth for SaaS. He is a sales mentor across several venture capital firms such as Notion Capital, Reach Capital, Astella, and Storm Ventures, where he helps accelerate the development of sales teams across their portfolios. Sangram Vajre, CEO, GTM Partners: Vajre is co-founder and CEO of GTM Partners, a data-driven analyst firm that helps B2B companies achieve efficient growth. He’s also the author of three books on go-to-market strategy, including the Wall Street Journal bestseller, “MOVE: the 4 Question Go-to Market Framework.” Before founding GTM Partners, Vajre co-founded Terminus, which earned a spot in Deloitte’s fastest-growing company list after hitting $15M in three years. He also ran marketing at Pardot (acquired by ExactTarget and then Salesforce).

Lisa Sharapata, CMO, Arbinger Institute: Recognized by CIOLook as one of the 10 Most Influential CMO’s to Follow in 2023, Demand Gen Report as the 2021 B2B Vanguard and B2B Innovator, and by DMN as a “Woman to Watch,” Sharapata is leading the charge for a better B2B buying experience. She is currently the CMO of The Arbinger Institute, a global leadership development and culture transformation organization that helps leaders and teams shift their mindsets to drive organizational changes that lead to exceptional results.
