OPTIZMO Joins the International Association of Privacy Professionals

OPTIZMO Will Continue to Promote Effective Privacy Practices Throughout the Digital Advertising Ecosystem

OPTIZMO Technologies, the industry leader in email suppression list management, announced that is has joined the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) to support effective privacy practices throughout the email and digital advertising industries in 2018 and beyond.

The IAPP is a resource for professionals and companies looking to thrive in today’s rapidly evolving information economy. It is the largest and most comprehensive global information privacy community and resource, helping companies manage and protect their data. The organization’s membership is made up of hundreds of companies focused on privacy, infosec, and compliance.

OPTIZMO has been at the forefront of email compliance, since its founding in 2009. Over the years, the company has worked with various industry organizations and trade groups to drive the conversation about email compliance and privacy.

The company is focused on helping its clients become and remain compliant with email marketing regulations in the U.S. (the CAN-SPAM Act of 2003) as well as upcoming global regulations like the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which will go into effect on May 25, 2018.
