Evergage Named ‘Best Customer Data Platform’ in MarTech Breakthrough Awards

Evergage, The 1-to-1 Platform company, announced it has been named “Best Customer Data Platform” in the inaugural MarTech Breakthrough Awards. The awards program – a new addition to the Tech Breakthrough Awards organization – recognizes the best companies and products in the fields of marketing, sales and ad technologies.

More than 2,000 nominations were received from organizations all over the world. Judges – including journalists, analysts and senior technology executives – evaluated companies’ success and innovation in breaking through the crowded martech market.

This award comes at a time when interest in the customer data platform (CDP) category is at a high. According to Gartner, Inc.’s newly released “Hype Cycle for Digital Marketing and Advertising, 2018,” “Marketer interest in CDPs skyrocketed in 2017 as inquiry volume on the topic increased fourfold.” The report continues: “As marketers place increasing value on customer data modeling and personalization initiatives, the challenge to unify and manage customer data is more pressing than ever. The CDP promises to provide the connective tissue between and among tools in the marketer’s stack, and help marketers harness and activate their first-party data.”
