Avanan, the leader in cloud email and collaboration security, announced the successful completion of its 2021 Service Organization Control (SOC) 2 Type 2 examination. “At Avanan, we’re relentlessly committed to protecting our customers’ inboxes from cyberattacks that evade default and advanced security tools and catch cloud threats that others miss across email accounts and connected collaboration platforms and applications.”

In partnership with Dansa D’Arata Soucia LLP, an independent accredited CPA firm that conducted the audit and issued the report, Avanan underwent a comprehensive examination process. In doing so, Avanan maintains its adherence to one of the most stringent, industry-accepted auditing standards for service companies and provides additional assurance to its clients, through an independent auditor, that its business process, information technology, and risk management controls are properly designed.

The official audit report provides a thorough review of Avanan’s internal controls, policies, and processes for providing full-suite protection and complete security of enterprise cloud email and collaboration applications. It also reviews Avanan’s processes relating to risk management and vendor due diligence, as well as the company’s entire IT infrastructure, software development life cycle, change management, logical security, network security, physical and environmental security, and computer operations.

“We’re honored that the successful completion of this in-depth examination further verifies that we have the appropriate security controls and processes in place to mitigate risks related to the services we provide to our customers,” said Gil Friedrich, CEO and Co-Founder of Avanan. “At Avanan, we’re relentlessly committed to protecting our customers’ inboxes from cyberattacks that evade default and advanced security tools and catch cloud threats that others miss across email accounts and connected collaboration platforms and applications.”
