Vaayu’s automated carbon footprint calculation platform to power end-to-end measurement as part of strategic partnership

Wunderman Thompson Commerce, the leading global eCommerce consultancy, has partnered with clean technology company, Vaayu, to create a global Sustainable Commerce Practice.

Following the annual Conference of the Parties (COP26) that spotlighted the global climate crisis, Wunderman Thompson Commerce and Vaayu’s partnership will give brands a platform to measure and meet environmental commitments; the automated system and CO2 calculator can track and reduce emissions in real time.

In an exclusive relationship from now until Q4 2022, the practice will leverage the strategic partnership with Vaayu to provide retailers and brands tangible opportunities to deliver against their environmental commitments.

Neil Stewart, Global CEO at Wunderman Thompson Commerce, said: “We’re delighted to bring Vaayu’s innovative solution into the Wunderman Thompson Commerce family, working together with retailers and brands to reduce carbon emissions. Our global clientele will not only be able to ensure they are ethically producing goods and services but also reassure consumers that their commitment to driving genuine change is front of mind; we’re no longer at an inflection point, we’re at the point where action is needed.

“We want to give retailers the tools to weave environmentally conscious, sustainable commerce practices into the fabric of their DNA. Just as we have inclusive design in retail, we will now be able to provide sustainable consultancy, design, operations and technology services all in one place that transform the industry for the better.”
