CIO Summit: The CIO as Digital Change Agent Will Capture the Conversation at HMG Strategy’s Boston CIO Leadership Conference
As organizations move forward with their digital strategies, the CIO is ideally positioned to navigate how the various moving parts must be orchestrated to achieve optimal transformational success. The courageous leadership qualities required by CIOs to foster a culture of innovation and power the company into the future will drive the discussion at the 2018 Boston CIO Executive Leadership Summit, produced by HMG Strategy, to be held on September 13, 2018 at the Seaport Hotel and World Trade Center in Boston.
“For CIOs to succeed in these highly disruptive times, they need to think like a CEO and act as the Digital Change Agent for the enterprise,” said Hunter Muller, HMG Strategy’s President and CEO. “This includes leveraging how digital technologies such as artificial intelligence, machine learning and analytics can be used to identify and execute on new business models that can successfully catapult the company into the future.”
The Boston CIO Executive Leadership Summit will kick-off with compelling set of ‘HMG Tech Talks’ on strategies to Lead, Innovate and Disrupt the enterprise. HMG President and CEO Hunter Muller will lead the first discussion on why IT matters more than ever along with other critical trends that are shaping the future path for technology executives. Muller’s presentation will be followed by an HMG Tech Talk given by Dr. Stephanie Woerner, Research Scientist, MIT Center for Information Systems Research (CISR), on the six critical questions that executives must answer to successfully execute an enterprise’s transformation strategy. Woerner’s presentation will followed by an interview between Hunter Muller and Sean Lennon, SVP & CIO at Allergan, who will describe his role in driving the digital roadmap for the world’s most dynamic pharmaceutical company.
Other valuable sessions at the summit will include an executive panel that will examine how advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, the Internet of Things, and analytics are driving speed to market and a competitive edge; an executive panel that will explore effective approaches to balancing agility and innovation with security; a panel of top search executives who will share the key attributes that make some technology executives more successful than others; a set of executive roundtable workgroups where attendees can participate in discussing the top opportunities and challenges associated with applying technologies such as AI, machine learning and digital as well as fresh practices for powering your career trajectory; and an executive panel of leading technology executives who will examine the CIO’s role in leading customer-centric strategies.
