ServiceTitan, the world’s leading all-in-one software for residential home service businesses, announced that Guy Longworth, a veteran executive with more than 30 years of experience in sales and marketing for global brands, will join the company as its first chief marketing officer.
Longworth most recently served as global chief marketing officer and senior vice president Intuit Small Business and Self-Employed Group (QuickBooks), where he launched the 2018 “Backing You” campaign. It was the first integrated global marketing campaign that significantly accelerated customer and online revenue growth. Prior to Intuit, Longworth was senior vice president of marketing for Sony PlayStation, where his team was responsible for the 2013 launch of the PlayStation 4, which was the most successful gaming console launch in history.
“I could not be more excited to be joining the outstanding team at ServiceTitan that is solving so many important problems that are faced by the hard working men and women who provide invaluable service to homes across the USA and Canada,” Longworth said. “ServiceTitan is a remarkable platform for them and offers extraordinary value to its customers. This team has built such an important, mission-driven business, and I look forward to joining them to write the next chapter of success for ServiceTitan.”

“Guy has a deep background in building mission-driven businesses and brands,” said Ara Mahdessian, CEO and co-founder of ServiceTitan. “During his time at Intuit and Sony PlayStation, the companies enjoyed spectacular growth in customer acquisition, revenue and profit. He’s bringing that experience and expertise in growing businesses and brands to ServiceTitan at a pivotal time for the company. His insights and leadership will be integral to ServiceTitan as we build on the success we’ve had in 2018 and continue to offer our customers the highest level of convenience and customer experience in the home services industry.”
In addition to his experience at Intuit and Sony PlayStation, Guy has enjoyed a successful career, including serving as CMO for Kellogg UK and Ireland. He earned a B.S. honors degree in management sciences from Manchester University.
ServiceTitan was founded by Mahdessian and Vahe Kuzoyan in 2012 when they discovered there were few software options to recommend to their fathers, both of whom were tradesmen. ServiceTitan now has more than 600 employees in Los Angeles and Atlanta and more than 2,500 client businesses throughout the US and Canada.
