Aki Technologies Names Former Saatchi Creative Director Kira Shalom Head of Creative

Seasoned Advertising Leader Joins San Francisco-Based Mobile Advertising Firm to Accelerate Creative Strategy for Clients

Aki Technologies, the moment marketing science company that helps brands personalize advertising through the power of mobile moments, announced that Kira Shalom has joined the company as VP of Creative.

In her new role, Shalom will provide strategic creative guidance to Aki’s clients, helping agencies and brands shape  mobile campaigns that deliver the optimal creative, message and ad format during a given moment. Shalom will also be responsible for steering the creative team across Aki, working closely with CMO Richard Black to execute a new marketing strategy for the company.

“Kira is a designer with an exemplary creative eye. She brings vast experience in creative and content development for global brands, which has led to outstanding marketing executions,” said Richard Black, CMO at Aki Technologies. “Her expertise in building memorable moments driven by unforgettable creative will enable our clients to apply our world-class technology to its best advantage.”

Over her 20-year career, Shalom has consistently applied her skills in design to create innovative solutions for brands. At Saatchi, she co-led the Enfamil global and North America creative initiatives across digital, TV, print, and CRM platforms. She developed the creative announcing the merger of Time Warner Cable and Bright House Networks to form Spectrum, as well as the global awareness campaign for PwC Digital Services. At Publicis, she worked on the L’Oreal brands Garnier and SoftSheen-Carson and helped the Garnier Skin-Renew Anti-Puff Eye Roller become the #1 new eye product shortly after its launch.

Shalom’s hire follows the recent appointment of global brand executive Richard Black to CMO; both new roles demonstrate Aki’s commitment to bolstering its marketing with the additional insight of the brand and agency perspective.
