Google Reveals Winners of the 2018 Premier Partner Awards

Google has disclosed its list of winners for this year’s EMEA Premier Partner Awards.

Now it its third year, 100 digital marketing agencies from across Europe, the Middle East and North Africa (EMEA) were competing to win six different awards, including innovation in Search, Display and Mobile—and also a wider ‘Growing Businesses Online’ award.

Each award recognises Premier Partner agencies and professionals who have used Google’s products to not only achieve marketing excellence, but also generate outstanding results for their small– to medium–sized business (SMB) clients.

The winners of the awards were announced at Google’s award ceremony in Dublin last night:

  • Search  – AWEB, Ukraine
  • Display – Relevance Digital, Greece
  • Mobile – RocketROI, Spain
  • Video – Relevance Digital, Greece
  • Shopping – Smarter Ecommerce, Austria
  • Growing Business Online – Push Group, United Kingdom

Before entering the awards, entrants must first become part of Google Partners. This is a programme set up by Google to help SMBs get online and find new customers. To join, digital marketing agencies or professionals must first pass a series of exams, and prove their expertise in using and applying Google’s advertising products.

“The standard of entrants this year has been outstanding,” says Serkan Girgin, Head of Google Partners, EMEA. “Identifying winners from so many incredible submissions is always a hard task for our judges, but it’s so inspiring to see the level of innovation in digital advertising firms, and how all that energy and creativity is helping small businesses grow.

“By working with a Google Partner, SMBs get access the very latest digital best practice,” says Serkan. “As our Google Premier Partners have the highest standards, it means SMBs get peace of mind from knowing their brand—and budget—is being well looked after.  We’d love to see more digital agencies or professionals from get involved.”
