SelfyzAI Completes First-Batch Beta Testing of Vidu Q4; New Model Joins Workspace Picker in First Wave Following Public Launch
SelfyzAI, the AI video and image generation platform, today announced that its team has completed first-batch beta testing of Vidu Q4, the latest video model from Vidu, now in public preview. SelfyzAI confirmed that Vidu Q4 is now available in its Image-to-Video workspace model picker in the first wave following the model’s public preview launch on October 7, 2026, giving users immediate access to the new generation alongside the platform’s existing lineup.
Vidu Q4 entered public preview on October 7, 2026. During the beta period ahead of launch, the SelfyzAI team tested the new model hands-on across the scenarios it is positioned for — AI short drama, film-style content, advertising, and social and music-video formats. Capabilities the team explored include 4K output with 10-bit color depth, steadier camera movement and shot transitions, improved instruction following, more stable large-motion and action sequences, stronger on-screen acting with more accurate dialogue and lip-sync, multi-reference generation supported by up to 15 reference images, and up to three audio references per generation.

“Being among the first to test Vidu Q4 hands-on gives us a real head start on how it behaves in actual creative workflows,” said the SelfyzAI team. “Our commitment is straightforward: now that Vidu Q4 is live, it is available in our Image-to-Video model picker in the first wave — our users won’t wait on an integration cycle.”
SelfyzAI’s workspace offers a model picker spanning leading video and image models on a credits-based system, alongside creative tools such as MyStory Agent and MV Agent. The company says Vidu Q4 is now available as a new selectable option in the Image-to-Video picker following Vidu’s public preview launch, so existing users will not need to change how they create.

The announcement follows SelfyzAI’s practice of adopting new video models quickly after their public release, letting creators match each project to the model best suited to it.
SelfyzAI is publishing usage notes and recommended settings for Vidu Q4 on its blog following the launch.
