MessageGears Strengthens Leadership Team, Appoints Natalia Dykyj as Chief Marketing Officer

Dykyj is the latest C-level addition for MessageGears, which is on a mission to help enterprise marketers unlock the power of their zero- and first-party data to elevate their customer engagement programs

MessageGears, the leading customer engagement platform for big consumer brands, has appointed Natalia Dykyj to Chief Marketing Officer. Dykyj, who brings 20 years of experience in creating and executing marketing, product, and go-to-market strategies, will work to build awareness of MessageGears’ unique value proposition within an otherwise crowded and undifferentiated market.

MessageGears’ platform allows enterprise marketers to leverage zero- and first-party data to engage with their customers in highly personalized ways across the full spectrum of digital channels – email, SMS, in-app, mobile push, web, and TV. In pioneering the only enterprise solution that directly accesses brands’ data repositories instead of relying on cloud data syncs, their solution eliminates the latency, inflexibility, and other limitations introduced by every other marketing cloud and customer engagement platform. MessageGears helps brands such as Expedia, Indeed, OpenTable, Rakuten, and T-Mobile unlock the full potential of their data in their customer engagement programs.

Dykyj, who was previously vice president and head of marketing at MessageBird and SparkPost, is the latest senior executive to join MessageGears’ leadership team. Her appointment continues a pattern of major milestones for the marketing software leader, which announced $62 million in growth funding in December, and earlier this month announced the acquisition of mobile marketing leader Swrve.

“Now is the time for us to kick into high gear and expose MessageGears’ unique enterprise solutions to more brands,” said MessageGears CEO, Roger Barnette. “Natalia is a change agent with a proven track record of creating and executing go-to-market and marketing programs that drive results. She is a people-first, performance-focused leader who loves to build, coach, and empower teams to tackle big challenges. We’re thrilled to have her on board.”

“Over the last few years, we’ve seen a wave of enterprise brands investing in their zero- and first-party data, and that wave is only going to continue to grow”, said Dykyj. “MessageGears is in a truly unique position to help those brands unlock all that data. I could not be more excited about amplifying MessageGears’ vision and changing how we all talk about ‘great’ customer engagement for years to come.”

Dykyj’s appointment rounds out MessageGears’ leadership team, which in June added Matt McKernan as Chief Revenue Officer. MessageGears also recently promoted Abby Henderson, who joined MessageGears in May 2021, to Chief Financial Officer, and elevated co-founder Taylor Jones to Chief Customer Officer. These executives join MessageGears’ long-time Chief Technology Officer, Craig Pohan, on the management team, reporting to CEO Barnette.
