The Top Startups list is driven by a combination of LinkedIn data and an editorial reporting lens. Rather than relying on questionnaires, it measures the behavior of over a half-billion members on LinkedIn focused on four core areas: employment growth, engagement with the company and its current employees, job interest, and attraction of top talent. This year’s LinkedIn Top Startups list had a focus to ensure they captured startups that are emerging, resilient and growing in the era of COVID-19.

“Being named to this list really hits home. Of all the communities we engage with, LinkedIn is where our core customers, partners, and industry influencers reside. It’s where the Alyce teams live and engage daily. It’s where we turn to recognize, celebrate and reward those amazing individuals and companies who deliver upon the Personal Experience (PX) approach, helping create personal bonds with everyone they do business with,” said Greg Segall, CEO, and Founder of Alyce. “Our ranking as one of the top 50 startups to work for is truly an honor. We strive daily to continuously build a supportive environment where our team members are recognized and valued for who they are, their #5to9™ lives as diverse individuals. Seeing our team carry their personal voices to the LinkedIn community further strengthens the value of our collective networks and creating quality relationships that matter.”

While many companies and entire industries were dramatically impacted by the pandemic, the need to create personal bonds as the world moved almost fully digital in the age of no major trade shows, events, and public networking became ever more paramount. Alyce actually thrived as a company, and swiftly pivoted to deliver digital gifts for their enterprise customers looking to create personal experience moments for their audience. Despite the market shifts, Alyce has experienced a milestone year of growth, with a vast percentage of it’s Annual Recurring Revenue (AAR) coming from its enterprise customer base and new use-case expansion, more than 5x-ing over last year.

“Since the launch of Alyce, culture has been at the core of our business as has the philosophy to always be giving,” said Tori Oellers, Head of Operations, founding team member with Alyce. “Culture; open-communications, transparency, diversity, inclusion, training, and support of one another have been at the heart of the company as it’s grown over the years. And it’s been the cornerstone to provide the strength, focus, and resilience to help the company adapt and actually thrive during the pandemic. This award is a testament to our amazing team.”
