Eric Bosco Named Chief Product Officer At Nielsen Global Media

Nielsen Holdings plc announced that Eric Bosco will join the company as Chief Product Officer (CPO) for its Global Media division, effective Feb. 10, 2020.

As head of Nielsen Global Media’s product organization, Bosco will spearhead product strategy and execution and will be responsible for every element of the division’s product framework with emphasis on designing and creating scalable products to serve Nielsen’s clients and the media industry. A central part of Bosco’s role will be shepherding a unified product strategy that aligns with Nielsen’s unified technology and data framework.

With media buyers and sellers increasingly leaning into cross-platform strategies to reach and monetize audiences in new and opportunistic ways, Bosco’s deep knowledge in product leadership will be instrumental in Nielsen’s commitment to serve as the one media truth for the industry.

Most recently, Bosco served as VP, Product and Design for TripAdvisor Experiences, where he led a global product and design organization with teams in various locations across North America, Australia and Europe. Over the past 20 years, he has worked as General Manager of SmarterTravel, CEO and COO of ChoiceStream and as Head of Advertising Products of AOL.

Bosco holds a master’s of science degree from Stanford University, and he earned a bachelor’s degree in computer science engineering from the University of Pennsylvania.
