Cloudinary Expands Intelligent DAM Platform

New AI-Powered Capabilities for Search and Analytics, and Enhanced Permissions Management Ease Workflows and Speed Go-to-Market

Cloudinary, the image and video platform that powers many of the world’s top brands, introduced a series of enhancements to its digital asset management (DAM) platform, Cloudinary Assets, including AI-powered People Search, and powerful new analytics. Customers can now identify people-specific content across libraries in seconds, and monitor platform and content usage and performance via user-friendly dashboards to optimize content operations and governance. Those attending DAM New York 2025 next week are invited to visit the Cloudinary booth to learn more.

With People Search in Assets, teams can automatically detect and label individuals in images and create named groupings (e.g., brand talent, employees) so people-specific content is easy to find. New uploads featuring those individuals are auto-associated to the same groupings, keeping libraries current without manual work. In addition, new and enhanced analytics provide comprehensive asset reporting to help creative and marketing teams streamline discovery, strengthen governance, and focus on what performs.

“The ability to deliver engaging visual experiences at scale is expected in today’s online world. Consumers expect it and marketers and developers deserve tools that allow them to move fast with greater ease and confidence,” said Rob Daynes, Managing Director of Assets, Cloudinary. “These enhancements optimize workflows so teams can accelerate delivery, maintain compliance, and drive stronger returns from creative initiatives.”
