Piktochart Makes Major Pricing Cuts and Opens Collaboration Across All Plans

Collaborative workspace, sharing options, and PDF or PPT download are no longer exclusive to paid accounts, while Pro and Enterprise are relaunched with multiple perks.

Piktochart, the SaaS platform for graphic design, announced a significant upgrade across all plans. The change introduces collaboration features, extra storage, and more to enhance users’ flexibility. Additionally, the Pro plan pricing has been reduced to $14/month (billed annually) or $24/month (billed monthly).

“Creating a visual, whether an infographic, report, presentation, flyer or poster, often requires collaboration. You might need to share it with teammates or clients to receive feedback, split the work, or get final approval before sharing your design. That’s why back in 2018 we introduced collaboration features in the Team plan,” said Agata Krzysztofik, VP of Growth, Piktochart.

As of August 14, 2021, Piktochart has rolled out several product updates that enable collaboration across all plans, including free.

“Seeing how the Team plan was a success and enabled both small and large teams to create visuals more effectively made us realize that limiting collaboration to only customers with the highest pricing plan isn’t the way to go. We wanted to give everyone a chance to work better together and experience the full potential of Piktochart. Even if they use Piktochart for free,” added Agata Krzysztofik.

With the design collaboration features becoming available through all plans, the Team plan has been discontinued and replaced with Pro and Enterprise (custom). All Team plan subscribers with less than 25 users in their team account have been automatically migrated to the Piktochart Pro plan. In contrast, any Teams with more than 25 users have been migrated to the new Enterprise plan—all at no extra cost for existing users.

The SaaS company is continuing to rebuild Piktochart to fit users’ visual storytelling needs better and is working on a new, improved editor and the option to pay for additional downloads in the Free plan. Professionals can try the graphic design tool online for free
