TrueFort Platform Achieves SOC 2 Type II Certification

Standard Validates Cloud Hosted Microsegmentation and Workload Protection Service Meets the Highest Standards for Security, Availability and Confidentiality

TrueFort, the real-time workload protection company, announced the TrueFort Cloud has received a System and Organization Controls (SOC) 2 Type II certification. This certification validates that TrueFort, which provides real-time microsegmentation and workload protection as a cloud service, maintains effective system level controls that ensure the security of its platform.

TrueFort has previously received SOC 2 Type I certification. SOC 2 Type II reports on the description of controls provided by the management of the service organization, attests that the controls are suitably designed and implemented, and attests to the operating effectiveness of the controls.

“Customers rely on TrueFort to continuously protect their applications and their workloads by blocking unusual activity in real-time, which requires 99.99 uptime from our systems,” said Nazario Parsacala, CTO of TrueFort. “SOC 2 Type II certification provides audited, external validation that the TrueFort platform meets and exceeds the strictest industry standards for security, availability, and confidentiality.”

Traditional security products have focused on analyzing network signatures and blocking known malware behavior, but the success of attackers in executing ransomware, supply chain, and insider attacks shows that there are still significant gaps in security coverage. TrueFort fills this void, offering Zero Trust protection for enterprise applications and workloads in the hybrid cloud environments that are increasingly the target of attackers. TrueFort Cloud leverages patented behavioral analysis and machine learning to help organizations better understand their applications’ trusted behaviors to ensure only these activities occur.
