“I have been working with and in procurement teams for many years. I understand their daily challenges and their goals to increase efficiency,” Scudder said. “Seamless collaboration with suppliers is absolutely critical to procurement success. In a world where we can anticipate more than half of purchase orders to change after they’ve been issued, shouldn’t procurement teams have a fully automated partner on board they can trust to swiftly manage—and optimize—change? With SourceDay, our customers gain unprecedented visibility into lead times, supplier performance and overall purchase order changes that could disrupt the supply chain.”

Scudder joins SourceDay after a year of consistent quarter-over-quarter revenue growth for the company. In her role as CMO, Scudder oversees SourceDay’s customer insights program and demand generation, working closely with the company’s leadership team to showcase how SourceDay automates purchase order changes and enables supplier collaboration.

“2021 marked a turning point in the global supply chain industry,” said Tom Kieley, CEO of SourceDay. “As organizations throughout the world continue to reckon with the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic, the demand for digitally transformed procurement processes has never been higher. SourceDay customers have seen incredible value in 2021, and as we head into 2022 with Sarah joining our experienced leadership team, we’re focused on refining our tools, growing our global team and ensuring procurement leaders are equipped to optimize their direct spend lifecycles.”
