Former CMO of Calvin Klein, Marie Gulin-Merle Joins Google as Global VP of Ads Marketing

The former CMO of global fashion brand Calvin Klein, Marie Gulin-Merle is now part of the Ads Marketing business at Google. Marie served as the CMO and Chief Digital Officer of CK. CK is owned by PVH Corp. PVH also owns fashion brand- Tommy Hilfiger. Last month, Tommy Hilfiger announced their CMO- Michael Scheiner. It is still not confirmed if Michael will take on Marketing leadership for CK as well.

PVH manages a diversified portfolio of brands — including CALVIN KLEIN, TOMMY HILFIGER, Van Heusen, IZOD, ARROW, Speedo, Warner’s, Olga, Geoffrey Beene and True&Co., as well as numerous other owned and licensed brands — and markets them globally.

In her current role, Marie will serve as the Global Vice President of Ads Marketing department. Despite coming from a business model that specifically focuses on retail and e-commerce businesses, marie has worked extensively with martech stacks in her previous roles. According to her LinkedIn bio, Marie started her marketing career with French personal care and beauty company – L’Oréal S.A. When she left L’Oréal S.A. in 2018, she was at helms of Marketing, Communications, and Sales efforts.

At CK, Marie was reporting to the CEO of PVH Corp. In what could be called as a short and sweet stint, Marie transformed the CK line of Martech adoption by leveraging a range of tools and platforms for omni-channel communications, automation, CRM, and retail tech. At Google, she will bring her experience to the Ads Marketing business to improve brand messaging and partnership communications.
