This award underscores the tremendous business value we deliver to our joint customers, transforming how brands communicate with their intended audiences.

Sendbird Chat is a complete in-app chat platform with application programming interfaces (APIs), software development kits (SDKs), and user interface (UI) kits that currently supports over 270 million active users and 6 billion messages a month, with a global cloud system spanning nine AWS Regions. Sendbird’s conversations platform for mobile apps supports chat, voice, and video – all on AWS. Leading brands like Reddit, DoorDash, PicPay, and Krafton use Sendbird to drive increased transactions and loyalty for hundreds of millions of users every month.

“We are honored to be recognized by AWS as a Rising Star Partner of the Year (ISV) in APJ,” said Sendbird co-founder and CEO John S. Kim. “This award underscores the tremendous business value we deliver to our joint customers, transforming how brands communicate with their intended audiences.”

“Payments are turning into conversations, but we are not in the chat business. PicPay turned to Sendbird to take in-app social interactions to the next level on our world-class payment platform and create an even more engaging user experience,” said Luiz Fernando Diniz, vice president of PicPay Social. “The fact that Sendbird is built on AWS and certified as an AWS Partner made our decision that much easier.”

For the first time, Regional and Global AWS Partner Awards included a self-nomination process across a number of award categories and specialization areas awarded at both the regional and global level where all AWS Partners were invited to participate and submit a nomination
