New Opportunities and Challenges for Revenue Teams in 2022

Over the past few years, the accelerated pace of digital transformation combined with the COVID-19 pandemic has forever changed the nature of B2B buying and selling. Our new digital-first reality has elevated customer-facing – or frontline – revenue teams in the field. In 2022, these frontline teams will play a pivotal role in building data-driven and revenue-generating omnichannel experiences. A recent Folloze-Demand Gen Report survey found that 50 percent of revenue teams expect a hybrid GTM model where marketing leads and digitizes the entire lead-to-revenue cycle with support from the direct sales team.

“We are excited to co-host this event with Women in Revenue,” said Cynthie Garner, VP of Strategic Accounts at Folloze. “To engage today’s digital-first buyer and drive predictable growth, marketing and revenue teams can no longer leverage old-school technology, linear funnels, and outdated operational processes. As such, 2022 will bring significant change to every B2B revenue team. I look forward to discussing how we are working with our customers, including Salesforce, Oracle, and Cisco to lead this transformation within their companies.”

“An evolving digital-selling environment in 2022 will require new skills and tools,” said Shari Johnston, Founder and Board Member of Women in Revenue. “We are proud that our Women in Revenue members are playing a pivotal role in the C-Suite leading their companies and navigating this change. I look forward to our all-star panel as they discuss new leadership opportunities for our members as they build next-gen revenue engines.”
