Salesforce Acquires B2B Commerce Platform CloudCraze
The Acquisition of Cloudcraze Will Enable Salesforce and its Customers to Take Full Advantage of The Shift to Digital Commerce
In March, Salesforce had signed a definitive agreement to acquire CloudCraze, a leading B2B commerce platform built natively on Salesforce. CloudCraze had received $30.6 million in funding, including a $20 million round in 2017 that included participation from Salesforce Ventures and Insight Venture Partners.
CloudCraze powers B2B commerce experiences for some of the leading global companies including Coca-Cola, Cummins, Ecolab, Land O’ Lakes and WABCO. CloudCraze has been recognized as a Visionary in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for Digital Commerce 2017; and a Strong Performer in The Forrester Wave: B2B Commerce Suites, Q1 2017, and The Forrester Wave: B2B Commerce Suites for Midsize Organizations, Q3 2017.

The acquisition of CloudCraze will enable Salesforce and its customers to take full advantage of the shift to digital commerce. Forrester predicts that US B2B commerce will grow from $889 billion today to $1.2 trillion by 2021.
