Newline Interactive has announced a new partnership with Kami, a New Zealand-based digital learning platform, to feature Kami software on all of Newline’s interactive flat panel displays. Kami is an online collaboration and annotation learning platform used by over 32 million users across 180 countries where users can create, edit, or enhance documents of any kind. Kami fully integrates with leading Learning Management Systems like Google Classroom, Schoology, and Canvas.

“Our new partnership with Kami adds another impressive notch in our belt of technology partners. The rich interactive content that we can now offer to our end users enable more diversity in document annotation and effective use of the interactive display,” said Chris Bradford, Newline President.

With Kami, users can share and annotate files using several different features, including Highlight, Add Text, Draw On, Add Shapes, and more. Users can upload PDF documents, images, Google Docs or Slides, scanned textbooks, and more from their computer or create blank documents or assignments.

Kami was founded in 2013 by a group of students at the University of Auckland, New Zealand as a notetaking web application for students. In 2015 the company rebranded as Kami – the Japanese word for “paper.”
