Gong Acquires Vayo to Enhance its Revenue Intelligence Platform

Gong, the revenue intelligence platform leveraging artificial intelligence to go beyond traditional CRM and transform revenue teams, announced it has acquired Vayo, an Israel-based startup specializing in data analytics for sales teams. With the acquisition the entire Vayo team joins Gong, adding firepower to Gong’s award-winning data analytics capabilities. The terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Garden Centre Plantorama Picks Agillic to Accelerate Data-Driven and Personalised Marketing

Plantorama, Denmark’s largest garden centre offering plants, pets and interior design, has chosen to partner with marketing software company Agillic. Their new marketing automation software will enable them to unleash the next level of data-driven and personalised communication.

Walmart Introduces Walmart+

Walmart is launching a new membership program that brings together in-store and online benefits to save customers money and time like no other retailer can: Walmart+. Walmart+ uses the company’s unique assets to make life easier for busy families. Along with the power of its online presence, Walmart+ has the reach of more than 4,700 stores, including 2,700 stores that offer delivery as fast as same day. Members will receive unlimited free delivery from stores, fuel discounts and access to tools that make shopping faster for families. Membership will be available to all customers on Sept. 15. It will cost $98 a year or $12.95 a month and includes a 15-day free trial period. In the future, the company will leverage its wide-ranging strengths to add additional benefits for members in a variety of services and offerings.
